★THE COMPANY has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Analyst opening up in our Dover, NJ office.
This role provides daily inventory and sales planning support.
＜ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:＞
Receives and compiles pertinent sales statistics and data from the market on a timely basis.
Transfers data of sales, marketing, and incoming products into fixed templates to make them available for review by Sales and Marketing of the Division and Tokyo HQ.
Monitors PSI and alert to Planner if any issues arise.
Communicates with sales managers on follow-up of orders, product availability, and allocation status.
Manages incoming information and communicates with Sales, Logistics, Operations, and Sales Administration regarding allocation and availability.
Assists in monitoring PSI and updating purchase plans.
Tracks forecast accuracy and measures performance against inventory targets and sales goals.
Assists in the development of sales plans to manage aged and slow selling inventory.
Communicates with Tokyo HQ Office and Logistic Office in both Japanese and English as needed.
Understands divisional KPI’s, monitors the progress, and assures continuous improvement efforts.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned by Management.
＜MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:＞
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual in English and Japanese is Required
Knowledge of Kanji Writing
Excellent proficiency in MS Office – (Excel, Word & Power Point)
