<Job Details:>
• Position: Temp to Hire
• Salary: $23 – $25 / hour
• Working Days: Saturday to Wednesday (Off: Thursday & Friday)
• Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (7.5 working hours/day)
• Subject to change to 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM based on team schedule.

<Requirements:>
• Commute: Transportation: Must have a reliable means of transportation for commuting.
(Note: Public transportation/building shuttle is limited on weekends, so a personal vehicle is highly recommended/required for this shift.)
• Experience: Air cargo industry experience is preferred (Import or Export).
<Key Points:>
The ideal candidate must be available to work weekends (especially Sundays) and have their own car. This is a critical requirement because the building’s shuttle service to the bus stop does not operate on weekends.
<Job Description:>
The Air Import Break Bulk Team Member
is responsible for the efficient handling and processing of inbound air cargo shipments. This role involves coordinating with airlines, customs brokers, trucking companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of imported goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi task environment.
<Key Responsibilities:>
• Coordination with Airlines: Communicate with airline representatives to arrange cargo pick-up, confirm shipment details, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Terminal Fee Payment: Process and pay terminal handling charges and other related fees at the cargo terminal as required.
• Invoice Issuance: Prepare and issue invoices for terminal fees and other service charges to customers or internal departments.
• Customs Clearance Coordination: Submit customs clearance requests and required documentation to customs brokers, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Trucking Arrangements: Coordinate with trucking companies to schedule and arrange pick-up and delivery of cargo from the airport terminal to NX warehouse.
• File Opening: Open and maintain files for all incoming shipments, ensuring all relevant documents and information are accurately recorded.
• Document Upload: Upload shipping documents and customs paperwork into the customs clearance system and internal databases.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including assisting with inventory control, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
<Qualifications:>
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience in air import operations, freight forwarding, or logistics is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with logistics or customs clearance systems preferred.
<Working Conditions:>
• Office environment. No warehouse work nor forklift driving.
• Require weekend work.
