<Job Description>
General Summary
1) This position is responsible for handling all aspects of air freight forwarding for both import and export customers, including: booking
shipments, arranging flight and ground transportation details, dealing with customs clearances, handling claims, issuing invoices, and ensuring
collections.

■ Primary Job Functions Weight:70%
1) Handles Import & Export Accounts
by obtaining air freight and ground shipping rates and schedules, and aircraft space per client request; by arranging ground transportation when
necessary; by making booking arrangements; by processing all bills of lading, letters of credit, customs and other documents when needed; by
initiating and maintaining files on shippers and their shipments; by inputting data into computer system regarding shipments; by sending all
documentation necessary to the proper locations so as to facilitate Customs clearance on arrival of freight at its destination; and by initiating
billing procedures.
2) Delivers Client Satisfaction
by performing traces; by contacting airlines, brokers and air freight forwarders on the phone; by advising customers on prices, schedules,
documentation, etc.; by filling out documents correctly; and by undertaking other various functions to assure on-time pick up and delivery of
freight for all customers.
3) Serves Customers
by answering the telephone quickly; by handling inquiries and expediting orders from internal and external customers in a prompt and
professional manner; by greeting external customers when necessary; and by otherwise communicating with external customers in a professional
manner which solidifies the business relationship.

■Secondary Job Functions Weight:20%
1) Performs General Administrative Tasks
by writing reports; by entering data; by preparing documents; by distributing mail and faxes when necessary; by maintaining paper and digital
files correctly; and by undertaking other duties as needed.
2) Keeps Management Informed
by reporting on all customer incidents quickly to eliminate problems; by communicating with Supervisor regularly regarding needs of the
department; and by maintaining documentation of customer interaction.
3) Manages Time and Resources
by managing time, support Staff, and other Company-provided resources (phone, fax, email) in order to maximize self-potential and business
profit.
4) Ensures Smooth Operations
by making sure that air freight operations function correctly; by providing the Company with accurate reports, including profit & loss statements;
by providing customers and colleagues with accurate shipping quotes when necessary; by following guidelines set
