＜Job Details & Responsibilities＞
Reviews and enters accounts payable voucher submissions for repair and maintenance, and other expenses. Reviews and enters accounts receivable agings for delinquencies, cash applications and prepaid rent application. Calculates and enters monthly contract item accruals such as common charges, security deposit, property tax and utility expenses to match expenses to period incurred, and review cash balance for reversing of same entries in next accounting period. Work with other internal accounting teams closely for internal transactions between divisions. Prepares cash flow statement for owners tie-out to balance the general ledger and property management accounting systems.
At least 2-3 years general Accounting experience required. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office, especially strong Excel skill +, and accounting software systems. Multi-tasking Skills to be able to juggle accounting works for over 500 properties in different States Teamwork Skills to be able to work with other co-workers not only same division but also different divisions Communication Skills to be able to interpret accounting results using language and terms understandable to other co-workers and the property owners.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. Understanding and communicating in Japanese is preferredWorking experience in Real Estate is preferred.
