＜Job Description＞
◆Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor (Freezer)
◆Job Type: Full-time
◆Salary: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
◆Responsibilities
• Coordinate and oversee all warehouse workers in freezer dept
• Supervise and direct freezer staff; put worker safety as a top priority
• Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products
• Confirm proper and timely delivery of products
• Perform various inventory counts
• Supervise all forklift operations in freezer dept.
• Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is inspected when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is kept at all times
• Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staff
• Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products
• Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks
• Abide by and enforce facility rules and state laws and regulations
• Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient warehouse
◆Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred
• Previous supervisors experience in a warehouse position or freezer
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft and data entry systems
• Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocol
• Knowledge of inventory
• Physical stamina, able to work long hours on one’s feet and lift 50+ pounds
• Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability withstand warm and cold conditions for long period of time
