<Job Description for Sales Manager>
◆Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers,
identifying new opportunities, following up on potential leads, maximizing our sales team potential,
crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. We are looking for a
high-performing Sales Manager with quick learning and strong negotiating skills to help us meet our
customer acquisition and revenue growth targets as well as making a great team.
◆Job details / Task:
*Generate daily report of sales activities and submit them to management
*Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into
customers
*Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s
marketing presence in the territory.
*Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing
clients
*Update client information in the company contact database with sales progress report
*Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
*Demonstrate products on site or at showroom
* Deliver products to customer location if needed
*Provide product training
*Provide after care service, including technical support
*Plan and organize daily work schedule
*Plan business trip
*Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers,
*Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature,
*Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports,
such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses,
*Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new
products, delivery schedules,
*Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems: developing solutions, preparing reports,
making recommendations to management
*Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reaching to technician in manufacture side and be
able to repair products.
*Train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives

*Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or
exceeding targes

*Proficiency in Microsoft excel and word
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English (Business level)
*Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite a plus
*Basic Japanese skills a plus
*Must be able to lift up 80lb of product
*Must have an experience in sales or customer service at least 5 years in the food-related industry
