The Restaurant is the Michelin stared restaurant in NYC and a sister restaurant of the highly regarded Michelin stared The Restaurant in Tokyo. Known for its outstanding yakitori and being almost impossible to book a reservation.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of FOH manager experience in casual upscale or fine dining.
The right candidate should have a skillset to run the basic day to day operations of a 24 seat Japanese Yakitori Omakase restaurant as well as be able to oversee the beverage program along with cost controls

• Shift management including staff time and attendance, tip pool oversight, adherence to service standards and on-going service training
• Liaise with the Culinary team to ensure seamless operation between Front and back of House Team
• Following through on any guest service issues/complaints to ensure amiable resolve
• Perform and Manage Weekly Beverage Inventories, along with ordering product, and adjusting selections & menus seasonally as needed
• On-going weekly beverage training with the Service Team
• Addressing needs and concerns of Ownership in an on-going & on-site basis
• Authorized to work in the U.S
• Be a motivated self-starter and able to work cleanly & efficiently
• Administrative knowledge including Word, Excel and email
• Basic Financial understanding of sales analysis, labor %’s and COGS.
