This position is responsible for conducting sales and marketing for the assigned sales
area, suggesting strategies to Management, developing business, and implementing
sales functions by using relevant data concerning market situations, needs, and
2. Essential Job Functions:
(1) Manages and Expands Customer Accounts:
by contacting customers regularly via telephone, e-mail, letters, and in person to
ascertain their needs and keep business and information flowing smoothly; by following
up on past-due accounts to ensure that all collections are completed; by providing price
quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers; by visiting
customers to make presentations about products; and by identifying customer needs or
problems in a timely manner, and reporting all problems to the necessary parties.
(2) Increases Profits
by analyzing sales trends and operating efficiency, product presentations, and best
practices to maximize profit; by researching and identifying potential customers; by
developing proactive sales methods including end-user customer presentations and
phone sales; and by seeking new business opportunities at trade shows and industry
(3) Supervise Sales and Marketing Operations:
by assisting in determining sales plans and pricing strategies; by maintaining inventory
levels evaluating production and quality control reports; by holding sales meetings; by
preparing sales reports for Senior Management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly
basis; and by supervising all other aspects of sales operations.

following up on product sales leads and inquiries received from magazine advertising,
websites, trade shows, and distributors; and by establishing, enhancing, and maintaining

(4) Performs Sales Support Functions:

confirming orders; by creating purchase orders, letters of credit, and sales contracts; by
documenting new project inquiries from new and current clients; by making quotations
and sending them to the customers; by contacting customers to troubleshoot problems
as they occur; and by performing any other sales support functions as necessary.
3. Other Requirement:
The Staff Member will work beyond normal business hours when necessary. 2-3 times
business trips per month nationwide in the US and 2-3 times trips to Central & South
Americas and South East Asia per year.
4. Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to
sit and talk or hear. The Staff Member is occasionally required to stand, walk,
use hands to pick up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
