◆Job Title: Manager of General Affairs and Health Center
◆Category: Full-Time /Exempt
◆Schedule: Basic working time 9am-5pm,5 days from Monday through Saturday (Saturday is preferable)
◆Job location: Westchester, NY (remote work is not available)

◆REQUIREMENTS:

• Japanese-English bilingual
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year College or University
• Several years of managerial experience
• Proficient in the use of computer technology
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty and administration staff

In particular, the school is looking for those:

• Who have experience in Human Resources, General Affairs, Medical/Health industry (hospitals, etc.), Crisis Management or Customer Facing Duties
• Who are able to understand federal, state and local government regulations regarding healthcare and medical areas (e.g. COVID-19) in English
• Who have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various constituents of the school (teachers, administration staff, nurses, etc.)
• Who are full of service spirit for students, parents or others, and are willing to take on extra duties as needed.

◆GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

<Health Center>

• Supervise nurses and administration staff at the Health Center. Manage their work shifts and approve their timesheet
• Ensure the Health Center duties are properly allocated among Nurses and Admin Staff
• Liaise with the School’s senior management and the part-time School Medical Doctor
• Provide advice to senior management by interpreting governmental regulations (CDC, NY State, and county)
• Develop protocols and standard procedures for the school with consultation with nurses, doctor and other constituents of the school and propose them to the senior management
• Complete required state and local reports with support from Nurse and School Doctor
• Coordinate with private and public health service providers such as hospitals, pharmacies, insurance companies, and government agencies
• Organize physical examinations, vaccine administrations, various tests and screenings for students and oversees students registration process
• Communicate with parents and relevant personnel regarding students’ health
• Handle the Health Center’s annual budget
• Perform administration tasks (e.g. insurance billings, supply orders, documents filing in compliance with HIPPA and purchase orders, etc.)
• Chaperon students to medical appointments or hospitals as needed

<General Affairs>

• Perform administrative duties in the Business Team (e.g. HR, Accounting) as needed
• Take on special projects assigned by Business Officer

◆COMPENSATION: $70-$75K (DOE)
