Requirement: Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of B2B sales experience

<1. General Position Summary:>
This position is responsible for conducting sales for the assigned sales area, suggesting
strategies to Management, developing business, and implementing sales functions.

<2. Essential Job Functions:>
(1) Manages and Expands Customer Accounts:
by contacting customers regularly via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person to
ascertain their needs and keep business and information flowing smoothly; by following
up on past-due accounts to ensure that all collections are completed; by providing price
quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers; and by
identifying customer needs or problems in a timely manner, and reporting all problems to
the necessary parties.
(2) Coordinates Sales Operations:
by determining sales plans, P/L budget drafts and pricing strategies; by projecting
expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products related to specified
accounts; by formulating and implementing targeted sales goals; by negotiating and
closing all pricing proposals; by preparing sales reports for Management on a weekly,
monthly, and quarterly basis; and by coordinating all other aspects of sales operations
(3) Increases Sales/Profits (including new business development)
by operating within budgetary guidelines; by managing expenses, by analyzing sales
trends, operating efficiency, and best practices in order to maximize profit; by
researching and identifying potential customers in specified industries; and by
developing proactive sales methods including end-user customer presentations, finding
key customer/prospect contacts and build up a good relationship to penetrate into the
opportunity, phone sales, and new business opportunities at trade shows and industry
events; and by performing any other sales functions as necessary.
(4) Support Marketing Functions:
by conducting research activities in order to grasp current market needs; by assisting the
execution and implementation of product marketing strategies; by following up on
product sales leads and inquiries received from magazine advertising, web sites, trade
shows, and distributors; and by assisting the establishment, enhancement, and
management of relations with marketing and advertising representatives.
(5) Maintains Information:
by processing sales data and generating sales reports; by receiving, processing, and
confirming orders; by creating purchase orders, letters of credit, and sales contracts; by
documenting new project inquiries from new and current clients; by making quotations
and sending them to the customers; by contacting customers to troubleshoot problems
as they occur; and by performing any other sales support functions as necessary.

<3. Other Requirement:>
The Staff Member is required to travel and may work beyond normal business hours when necessary.

<4. Physical Requirements:>
Physical Requirements
 While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to
sit and talk or hear. The Staff Member is occasionally required to stand, walk,
use hands to pick up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
 The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
 This position requires vision abilities such as close vision and the ability to adjust
focus.

<5. Minimum Qualifications:>
A. Language Skills
 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms, and
instructions in English.
 Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in
English.
 Ability to effectively respond to questions from Management, Staff, clients, and
the general public in English.
 Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups in
English.
B. Mathematical Skills
 Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
 Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to draw and interpret
bar graphs.
C. Reasoning Skills
 Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry out detailed
written or oral instructions.
 Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists.
 Ability to analyze and use various documents (contracts, purchase orders, etc.).
D. Computer Skills
 Ability to use a computer and such applications like Microsoft Windows, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and be able to design custom reports as necessary.
E. Other Skills
 Must be tactful, mature, flexible, and able to successfully respond to multiple
work pressures. High communication skill is required.

<6. Education/Experience:>
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university, and three to five
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
