Title: Accounting Director /Senior Manager
Location: New York, NY
Job Description
1. Control and analyze financial condition of the company
2. Report monthly and quarterly closing to senior management
3. Supervise accounts receivable process such as issuing invoices, applying cash receipts
4. Supervise accounting payable process such as making payments
5. Enter necessary journal entries on an accounting system
6. Monthly closing and quarterly consolidation
7. Coordinate annual audit review with external auditors
8. Manage logistic function to ensure accounting process and liaise with IT team to solve issues
and improve systems for effective use
9. Facilitate financial data using ERP system on a request basis
10. Manage, train, and develop accounting department subordinates
11. Other projects will be assigned as needed
Qualification
1. Must have a valid CPA (certified public accountant) license
2. Must have a at least 5 years of general accounting experience at professional accounting firms or
accounting/taxation/business planning experience at Japanese corporation
3. Excellent analytical ability to understand accounting system logics and procedures as well as
proficiency in Microsoft Excel
4. Must be bilingual in English and Japanese
5. Must have experience of managing subordinates
6. Good communication and coordination skills within the organization as well as external clients
Other Information
1. Salary Range: $75,000~$100,000 Depends on Experience, Fulltime,Exempt
2. Regular hours: MonFri 9:00am～5:00pm
3. Start Date: Immediately (introductory period during initial 3 months)
4. VISA support: Negotiable
