The company is seeking an accounting and administration staff for their NYC office located in midtown, New York. The person reports directly to Senior Manager and work with other staff as a team.

Responsibility will include, but not limited to, the following:
Financial statement preparation, costing, monthly/quarterly/annual closing, and reporting.
Risk and internal control, vendor and customer control, compliance, contracting, invoicing, procurements, document management, and office management.
◆ REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
3 years of US GAAP based accounting practice required. Compliance with laws and regulations, adherence to the firm’s policies and procedures, strong verbal and written communication skills, willingness to learn and improve procedures, flexibility to changes, ability to prioritize multi-task operations, detail-oriented, collaborative team player in multi-language/multi-cultural working environment, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality are required.
◆ REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
US CPA license required. Bachelor’s degree required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and 3 years of ERP system experience, such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, required. Business level Japanese language skill required.
◆ DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
2 years of internal or external audit experience desired. Other professional certifications a plus. IT consulting experience a plus. Experience at Japanese companies or understanding of Japanese culture a plus.
