SUMMARY
To engage in sales activities and projects related to Japanese language broadcasting (JBC). As non-exempt level employee, the incumbent will work under the guidance of the Executive Director in prospecting for new clients, managing relationship with existing clients, implementing marketing plan, executing sales and promotional activities, and negotiating contracts.
■ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Sales Activities
Research potential program sponsors by creating and distributing sales materials. Help manage relationship with existing program sponsors through onsite visits and maintaining oral or written communication, providing customer support and offering new ideas and products that meet their needs. Assist negotiation of new contracts for CMs and other projects.
* New Business Development
Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop new business plans and formats, such as events and program segment that will generate new revenue for the company.
* Project Management
Coordinate both broadcast-related projects such as CMs, infomercial and special program segments, and client or company-sponsored events such as movie premier, live events, and client appreciation party, among others.

None.
■ QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 3 years experience in a Japanese corporate setting.
■ LANGUAGE SKILLS
Business in proper Japanese. Business English.
■ OTHER SKILLS
Strong client service abilities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Good listening skills. Computer literate (MAC, Excel and Word).
■ ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to work overtime.
May be required to travel.
