＜RESPONSIBILITIES:＞
Teach 4-9 regular classes per week for Grade 9-12.
Teaching Japanese / Kokugo
＜REQUIREMENT:＞
Bachelor’s degree in teaching subject: Master’s degree preferred but not required. Native Japanese speaker and
at least several year of experience in teaching Japanese/Kokugo. Teaching experience for Gr 9-12 students is
preferred. Understand and learn the department’s goal and how to improve student’s skills. Have a passion for
teaching students and making improvements. Work and collaborate well with other teachers in the department
as a team player.
＜COMPENSATION:＞
Part-time teacher will be compensated per the number of classes to teach.
The rate will be $55-80 (DOB) per class. General teaching preparation, homework assignment and
grading are inclusive and hot separately compensated in general.
If you are request to attend faculty/department meeting, the actual hours will be compensated at your
class rate.
